Summer Practice

Summer practice has started. Thursdays @ 6pm at Detweiller Park.
If you were not at first summer 7s practice on the 11^th. You will need to be able to go to the Benningfield clinic for testing.

Directions to Practice

Summer practice is at Thursday at 6 pm. Be ready to go with your kit on!

Detweiller Park is located on State Route 29.
Major roads: Interstate 74 from the east and west and Route 29 from the North and South.
From the North: follow Route 29 going south. The park is located 1 mile south of Mossville Road on the right.
From the South: follow Route 29 heading north. The park is located 2 miles north of Gardner Lane.
From the East: exit Interstate 74 at Adams Street, which is the first exit across the bridge over the Illinois River. Follow Adams Street (Route 29) to park, approximately 10 miles.
From the West: exit Interstate 74 on Route 6, North Chillicothe. Follow road to Route 29, 5 miles. Take Route 29 south to park, 2 miles on right.

35+ Knackerfest

This is the tournament Timmy P and Russ frequent in Caymans. http://www.caymanrugby.com/remaxknackerfest.html.

You'll need to pay your entry fee to the ruggers in the Caymans you'll also need to set up the hotel & air on your own. There is a $200 entry fee per person so tack that on to the below estimates.

This years dates are November 13-15. You can can currently find deals at priceline.com currently shows (your mileage may vary) 4-day stays (Thursday 11/12 - Monday 11/16) for ~$916 (includes air & hotel) or 10-day stays for ~$1512 (including air & hotel). kayak.com currently shows airlines for $440 from Chicago or $690 from Bloomington. (Hotel not included).

You can, however, stay as long as you like (you don't need to pick either a 4- or 10-day stay).
